"Lunch Rush" and Art Olympics?

We're nearing the end of this year's Summer Olympics.

I love seeing the athletes, watching the culmination of years of long hours and hard work.

Competitive spirit, no matter the nationality

"... thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat...." (thank you Jim McKay and ABC Wide World of Sports)

Passed this article, mentioning painting in the 1912 Olympics?  really?

Guess I consider it all about athletics, grace, strength, and sport.   Not sure if this type of competition is where art belongs.

Read all about it here.

I travel around the city quite a bit, so for me Urban Life is all about the traffic, each person one of thousands in their own little car, going along their own little route, in their own little life.

Through out the day, we all intersect and intertwine through the trails we leave on our way to wherever it is we're going.

See this work as part of Abend Gallery's exhibit, "Urban Life" through August 27th, 2016.

Thank you CV!
When stuck in traffic amidst masses, I always feel like each car is it's own little microcosm created by each unique driver (and/or other passengers). I always try to keep a little peaceful place in my car when driving. Thanks again!
